Headshot Fundraiser for NHS Trust, Leicester Partnership with support of Landmark Properties and Insight Consultancy

In support of the incredible work of NHS Leicester Partnership Trust, I ran a professional headshot photography stand at Leicester business networking group, The Social Circle hosted by Insight Consultancy providing both established and emerging businesses with professional marketing assets to help them win clients and grow.
50% of all proceeds were donated, raising funds to support vital NHS services in Leicester.
A headshot is more than a photo it’s a market signal.

Old-school marketing underestimated its importance, but in today’s saturated online world, your profile picture is a constant signal — visible across LinkedIn, websites, and every marketing channel.

For this charity headshot stand, I photographed professionals from a range of industries.
I chose a simple, single-light setup with a neutral grey background. Grey works because it’s timeless, distraction-free, and keeps the focus on the subject whilst suiting a range of industries.
I set up the light so it worked for everyone no awkward adjustments, no blinding glare just a flattering, natural look that kept the shoot flowing. By making the setup non-intrusive, people relaxed, and that’s when the good stuff happens.
While they were in front of the camera, I used little prompts and cues to bring out genuine confidence and warmth. No forced smiles, no stiff poses just authentic expressions that actually feel like them.
The outcome is a headshot that does more than “look nice” it communicates your value instantly and consistently, wherever your audience finds you.
